Roughen surfaces with steel grit
Steel grit removes rust, paint, etc. and roughens surfaces, ensuring the durability of the paint.

Efficiency with steel granules
Edged steel granules are manufactured in different hardness grades:
hard quality (GH)
medium hard quality (GL)
soft quality (GP)-
GH is the most commonly used grade and the right choice for air blasting. This is too hard for shot blasting and wears away the wear spots of the shot prematurely. GL grade is also most often used for air blasting, and in some cases also for shot blasting. The soft GP grade is suitable for shot blasting machines as is or mixed with steel balls.
Steel grit is used to clean steel surfaces from rust, paint and other solid dirt, and to roughen the surface to ensure the adhesion of paint and other coatings. When blasting with steel grit, dust formation from the blast itself is minimal.
The steel granules we sell can be recycled up to 200 times.
Working pressure: 3–7 bar, depending on the desired surface quality and the object to be blown
Steel granules come in several sizes, the most common being:
G07/G80 0.18–0.42mm
G12/G50 0,3–0,71 mm
G17/G40 0,42–0,85 mm
G24 0,6–1,0 mm
G34/G25 0,85–1,18 mm.
We also offer stainless steel grit Cr, which is used for blasting stainless steel parts. When used, it leaves no rusting particles on the blasted surface.
Steel granules are delivered in 25 kg bags or full 1000 kg (40 bags) pallets or in 1000–1500 kg big bags.
We deliver steel granules for shot blasting from Hämeenkyrö to all of Finland.
